Will I need to rebuild my site in V3?

We’ll make the transition to V3 as smooth as possible, so you won’t have to rebuild anything. You will be able to switch it to V3 and the new options will become available.

Will Viewbook V3 include feature X?

The new system makes it much easier for us to include new features and it is also more flexible in itself. A lot of features that are requested will be implemented automatically because of how the new system works; it allows much more flexibility in designing your pages. If you have any ideas that you would like to share, be sure to take a look at our feature requests page. You’re always welcome to add yours.

Does HTML5/Javascript mean no more Flash?

That’s correct. However we will keep supporting the current Flash gallery too, for people that want to keep using it.

Do these changes have any concequence for SEO?

SEO wise, your sites will index like before, and your images will become indexable.
